Many ppl asked how i celebrated my birthday. Well.. I shall have 2 posts for today. Ha.. 1st of October!!! My birthday! Singapore's Childrens' Day! China's National Day!
We went to Tian An Men queue for one whole night, till the next morning, just to see the flag-raising ceremony... Took some photos with the soldiers.. Hmmm... At 2 am when they opened the gates to allow ppl in.. Oh my God.. Everyone squeezed their way. Honestly i thought i almost died there. Fortunately, there wasn't any stampede.. But it almost did. I thought my rib-cage almost broked. And i don't even need to lift my legs to move.. The people behind pushed and pushed till you can just put your feet on the ground, the the pressure can make you slide your way there. "Cool huh?"
Then they set free (like 1000?? i don't know) Homing Pigeon (Messaging pigeon used in the past), it flew around.. it's as nice as watching Fireworks.. Only they don't practise that during their National Day unlike Singapore. It's really nice! And no worries. They are trained. So they don't shit on our heads. Went back to sleep.. Then head out for dinner that same night to celebrate my birthday.
Celebrated my birthday in a western restaurant. Ate pasta.. Everyday eat Chinese food.. kinda sick of it. so have a change! Too bad the restaurant ran out of cake.. wat the hack rite?!
My friends later bought me a tiny ice cream cake and they sang Happy Birthday Song for me. So sweet. LOL.
That's about it. A very simple and ordinary day.
Anyway, i wanna thank you HUI TING!!! For giving me such a lovely post for my birthday...
