work was GROSS!!! I was assigned to do setting up, i have to set cutleries on the table.So first, i went to take the side plates. Goodness... its like not washed (though it is)there are some dried food stuck on those plates~Then i took the chopsticks, the smell of the whole baskets reeks~!I wonder how they wash it. Next the table-spoons~ worse!!!Since the spoon is kinda wet, when i pick it up, the water drips like glue!!Since the water is clear, the spoon looks clean, in fact, its not!I wonder why no ppl gets foodborne diseases... yeah.. cos they do not handle faeces, thus there's no transmission of viruses. (so much of reading from mig's notes. ha. its really interesting, but i still prefer my hospitality line~!) I really felt bad, as i was made to deliver those yucky things to them.Thinking about what they put into their mouth = dried food from yesterday's dinner and those gluey water, which i dunnoe what made them! (maybe mixture of chilli sauce, decomposing vegetables and lots & lots of germs~) Then i went up to the stewarding area to find some tea-cups...The stench was HORRENDOUS!!Seriously awful.Then i started to have headache. Literally. All the way til i reached home.I wonder what made those stench~ i bet its the accumulation of years of decomposing food, hidden at some unnoticed area,plus more of those gluey water!!!! Goodness. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I bet i'll have nightmares soon if i continue to work setting up... i'll shall try and avoid.
*Advice: If you're going for wedding dinner next time, pls try and wipe the cutleries, ignore stares from other ppl, the cutleries may look clean, cos before dinner, we'll clean the cutleries again, but it only kindof scrap off the food, but the gluey water is dried, so the cutleries looked clean! * * * * *
